Heritage Reviews

Georgina
This property certainly did not disappoint, the pictures do not do it justice its stunning! ! It was decorated beautifully for christmas which made it so cosy. The property is so clean and has everything you could possibly need. We also went into local towns and so perfect. I will certainly be back and highly highly recommend!!

Overall happy with our stay here. The accomodation is very well equipped and made it just like home from home. The only two downfalls the WiFi is intermittent meaning there can be issues with the TV working due to being a smart TV. Also on one of the days we were staying work men appeared wanting to do work on the decking and a hot tub service, which was a slight inconvenience. But overall we were happy with our stay and would be happy to rebook.

We loved heritage! So much room for a large family gathering, loved the outside fire and the hot tub was big enough for us all to try! Bedrooms are furnished to a high spec and the kitchen, living room dining area is a lovely space to congregate together. Would have loved a washing machine to wash sandy clothes after the beach, but that wasnt an essential as the overall feel of the place was perfect anyway. We are already planning our next trip!
Heritage cottage is a perfect base for the area. The staff at the garage who manage the property were always friendly and helpful. A very good stay.
This is our second stay at Heritage and we all enjoyed it as much as the first time. The property was ideal for our large group 7 adults 1 dog. The garden has now been fully enclosed and our staffy was able to do his zoomies without concern. A shame that the pub was still closed but plenty of other options available a short drive away. The staff at the garage are very helpful and were always making sure everything is ok.
Theres a few things that would make the house better. Childrens crockery and cutlery More information about the local area and things to do Not slip matts in the shower cubicles The house lact a the personal touch We asked questions before we arrived and didn't get any response until a day or 2 after we got home
Alison
Outstanding property. Did not disappoint. Everyone in our party loved our stay. Close to areas we wanted to see and explore. Shops close by. A lovely time had by all.
Brilliant stay perfect for us 8 adults and 4 kids only draw back was the pub was closed ! ! But really good stay . Will probably book again .

This property was so nice, that we booked again for later in the year, on our first night there. We had an amazing time, it had a nice outdoor area with an Hot Tub and somehow, despite being within a close proximity to a dual road and Petrol garage, you don't even hear it when you are outside looking at the country views. We went with extended family, with young children and they all had fun in the hot tub and playing football and outdoor activities, in the secured garden area. The house looks amazing and had plenty of space for two families, without being under each others feet. My girlfriend and I have also stayed here before with a large group of friends and had an equally enjoyable time then, to. I've stayed in many cottages with Sykes, always a great company, but the Hereitage house is my favourite. Date of experience 27 April 2025
A wonderful spacious property, prepared and presented to a very high standard. The enclosed rear garden, hot tub and countryside views provided a relaxing environment, with the advantage of proximity to the main road network, to explore the surrounding area. Accommodated our party of 5 adults and 3 children with ease. The welcome pack was a nice touch, that was appreciated. Have no hesitation in recommending the property based upon our experience and are hoping to return in the future.

A lovely big, single floored, property which we enjoyed spending Christmas 2024 in. There were only 5 in our party but we wanted somewhere big enough to enjoy all the space. Daughter lives local to the property, so it was great having her, and her partner, over for Christmas dinner. Dining table seats 10. Hot tub was on and cleanedtested throughout our stay. Ideally situated for Carmarthen and Tenby etc. We were treated to a lovely, decorated Christmas tree, which was nice surprise on entering the property. Just a slight niggle, there's no washing machine! Poor old daughter had to do our clothes washing every other day....
Chelsea
We honestly had an amazing time! We couldnt believe how spacious and well thought out the space was. All rooms were well decorated, clean and airy. The location was handy with the restaurant and shop on site. The garden was lovely, despite concerns after reading other reviews on how secure it was for our dog, was perfect! The only thing we found that was missing would be a bbq in the garden and we had some issues with the hot tub connecting to the speaker, but once we asked for help this was resolved promptly. So grateful for a lovely stay and will definitely book again.

Heritage is a beautiful property, which with a couple of tweaks could be perfect. The points to note would be Instructions for the oven, TV and Hot tub would be great. Mats at the patio door entrances just to help wet feetpaws from wetting the floor as much Some sort of coffee machine or cafetire would be a great addition. Extra pillows for the beds would be great too by this I mean different firmness the bedspillows and bedding were all lovely, however the pillows are all very very soft and therefore, were not great for us personally. Slightly marked down for cleanliness due to the kitchen cupboard doors being quite dirty and the insides of the wardrobesdrawers were also quite dusty. Overall we loved the property and its position was a shock at first to find out it was behind the service station, but once you were in it didnt matter at all. We will certainly be back and are already looking at dates for next year
Lovely spacious property with 4 large bedrooms and massive kitchenliving areas all on one level, which was perfect for our party of 7 ages 17 80 and our dog. Would agree with previous comments about the garden needing to be more secure for pets. However, ours was always walked on a lead so not an issue for us on this occasion. Staff at the Forge were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the week and were very keen to hear about any thoughts on anything that could improve our stay.
Garden is not fully enclosed as stated in listing. A gate andor fence is needed between heritage and the next bungalow as neighbours dog could come into our garden. Dishwasher was broken the whole stay.
Its amazing property.
