Another great week at Long Shepherds, our fourth i think. A well equipped comfortable spacious home that we love. Well placed for the beaches, Mumbles and Gower. Lovely walks to the coast from the doorstep. We will probably be back soon.

The house is well equipped and maintained. We stayed over Christmas and it perfectly accommodated the extended family who came to visit during the break, with a spacious lounge and dining room. Everyone slept well and appreciated the location of the property , enjoying walks in the local area.

We had a wonderful stay, the whole place was extremely comfortable we had everything we needed and a whole lot more. It was great having a downstairs toilet and shower.The lounge was really comfortable and the television was great.The bedroom was very cosy and the bed was so comfortable.The bathroom upstairs was great too.The whole house and it's location was absolutely fantastic.I had a lovely text message from the owner which was a lovely touch.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend this lovely house if you want to stay in the Mumbles.

Loved the house and the location. Only issue was a problem with the drains outside, but nothing to do with the home owner. He was brilliant at seeking to get it sorted so that it didnt impact on our holiday. Recommended!
Ideal position, convenient for the centre of Mumbles, the beach and the countryside. Probably the best equipped house we have stayed in. Plenty of books if reading is your thing.
The perfect stay. Spotless, well equipped and felt like home from home. Fabulous location with easy access to walks and local beaches. Would have loved to stay for another week but sadly it was already booked.
This is a commodious and very well equipped house thats nicely situated above Caswell it gives as ready access to the bay and to the cliffs of South Gower as it does to the shops and restaurants of Oystermouth. Its a fine base for an exploration of the entire peninsula, one that wed happily recommend to others.
A comfortable, well equipped house in Newton. Good location for access to The Mumbles a 20 minute walk and Gower's beaches Caswell, Langland & Oxwich. The house was spotless and the beds comfortable.

Second visit to Long Shepherd's for us. Swansea and Mumbles are where i was brought up so whenever we visit it's to see family although we still love the area very much and it's very special to us. Number 30 is a lovely house, very comfortable in a quiet area. We had a great visit again and didn't really want to leave.

This property is one of the best I've stayed in. ..spacious, in excellent condition, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It's in an extremely quiet & pleasant residential area and it's very easy to access places. We had sunshine all week & every day we walked to the coastal paths via paths on the nearby golf course or drove to beautiful places such as Rhossili. The area is hilly so not for people who require flat walks!

Lovely holiday in a great location. Its up a big hill and my husband has long covid so we drove most places but the friends we stayed with enjoyed lots of walks to the seafront. The property was spacious with everything we needed. My only suggestion would be some gates to enclose the back garden as our toddler kept running down the side of the house to the front which meant lots of chasing after him but that was a very minor thing and overall we had a great holiday with lots to see and do nearby.

Lovely property, very clean and spacious and well situated in quiet residential area. Quite hilly but can park in free car park at Underhill if going to The Mumbles which saves steepest climb. Other close beaches have car parks. House is very well presented and, with the warm weather, we had a really good stay.
A lovely well positioned property with private parking and a nice garden. We loved the light and well stocked kitchen. Kingsize bedroom was very comfortable with high quality linen. Small problem on arrival but the owner was very helpful and it was sorted. Hope to be back soon.

Fantastic property, excellently maintained and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect position for walks around Caswell and Langland and a pleasant walk into Mumbles town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 30 Long Shepherds Drive! The house itself is really spacious and well cared for, everything we could possibly need was provided! The house is so close to the woods and Caswell beach, and minutes by car to everywhere we needed to go. It would be an excellent base for further afield trips too. We will definitely be booking again next year. I 100 recommend staying here if you are a family looking for a South Wales base for your holidays!
Stunning property, well above expectations. Greeted with a lovely hand written message and some scrumptious Welsh cakes Thank you! . Beds very comfortable, totally spotless. Loved the induction hob, trying to persuade my husband to replan our kitchen cooking layout now! If I could give it 15 out of 10 I would. A credit to the owners.
I'm sure this will be the first of many 5 star reviews of this brilliant property. It blends comfortable homeliness with a clean and tidy standard of high quality holiday accommodation. Very well equipped kitchen with everything needed. Fabulous location for the beautiful beaches in the Gower and access to the Brecons. The owners might not be close by, but were very easy to contact and get information from if needed.
