My wife and I were delighted with Carreg Cannon Cottage. The hosts Josie and Gavin were very friendly, informative and made our holiday such a pleasurable stay. If you like peace and quiet and a total relax, this is the place to go to. Not far from excellent shopping and dining facilities with very good walks and interesting attractions nearby, there is enough to keep everyone happy.

Our host was very welcoming and thoughtful there were extras including fresh flowers, milk and cake for us in the cottage which was cosy, comfortable and warm. It was very well maintained and furnished, and had everything we needed as well as being peaceful and surrounded by fields. The games room was excellent and it was lovely that our dog was welcomed too he enjoyed roaming free in the enclosed paddock. I would definitely recommend this property.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, well appointed and a welcome pack of milk, Welsh cakes, tea bags etc meant that you could settle in very quickly. We just had a lovely Bank Holiday break at Carreg Cennen cottage. Weather was great, the area was peaceful and quiet, which was just what we needed. The cottage was sat just outside LLandeilo, it was a pretty little town, where you could get everything you needed, only a 5 minute drive by car. This is a lovely little cottage. 1 of 3. Has everything you could possibly need. The area is so central to the places we wanted to visit. The owners are lovely as well as their little dog Betsy and cat, Ollie. It is so peaceful too. There's the added bonus of a games room and also access to a washing machine, dryer, iron and airer should you need them. I would love to go back again.

Highly recommend the accommodation, facilities and location. A beautiful cottage with lovely hosts, as well as thoughtful touches like milk and Welsh cakes. We were spoilt for choice in the games room with a pool table, darts, table tennis and table football. Its also very dog friendly. The paddock was great to walk the dog. Its an easy 10 minute drive into Llandeilo with more dog friendly walks and lovely cafes and restaurants.

The cottage was lovely, comfortable, clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. What made it special was the extra touches. Towels in abundance, flowers on the table, cleaning products such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, toilet roll etc... provided. A games room, a laundry room. I think if you are looking for peace and quiet in the countryside with a comfortable relaxed place to stay, this place is for you. Loved the fact that the owners seemed to put a lot of thought into welcome gifts, a few beers, jar of treats for the dog and all the kitchen gear was there. Also the games room was a bonus. A lot of flies and several spiders but then you are very much in the country. I would reccomend this place and would stay there again.

This was a last minute booking when our original booking was cancelled. The cottage is compact but not cramped and the addition of laundry and games rooms make up for this. Wonderfully friendly hosts, lovely quite location. A clean, comfy and cosy place.

Had a beautiful short break, cottage was lovely in relaxing surroundings. Everything that you might want was provided with some lovely extras including tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes! The games room is a brilliant idea and made use of it every evening, plus also had a go on the zip wire.

We have just had a lovely stay, the owners Gavin and Josie were great hosts welcomingus on arrival, the cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped including tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk on arrival, even a couple of beers in the fridge and a jar of dog treats for Miffy our westie You could not wish for better hosts always around if needed but left us alone to enjoy our stay, would definitely stay there again when holidaying South Wales.

Fabulous short break away, Cottage was beautiful & more equipped than stated, teacoffee & x2 beers in the fridge with a pint of milk on arrival! Games room was a great addition for children, although we didn't get to use it much. Only met one of the hosts with the children & were lovely & welcoming, got the feeling they genuinely wanted your stay to be as best as possible.

I stayed here several years ago before the interior updating had been done. It's much improved, and bright and modern. Everything was spotless, and the owners are friendly but not intrusive. I've loved the outside paddock, drive and general ambience. I look forward to my next visit with my little dog who also liked it. Peaceful, well maintained and highly recommended.
