Pond Cottage, New Quay

Very tranquil setting. Lovely welcome with some yummy cake, tea and coffee. Plus flowers. Accommodation great. Plenty of room. Everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Lots of books, games and dvds to enjoy. The hot tub was a great asset to the property. Enjoyed relaxing in it. Our dog Ruby most definitely enjoyed the adjacent fields to run around. Lots of nice places to visit.

It is of no surprise that this cottage receives such positive feedback! The cottage was clean and well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. The hosts, Philippa and Mark, couldnt be more accommodating, friendly and helpful. Location was ideal with a short drive to popular locations like Newquay & Aberaeron. Dogs are welcome at this cottage and mine had a wonderful time exploring the many walks in the locality and having a dip in the dog paddling pool! She was in heaven! Thankyou for making our stay memorable. We will be back!

Very well maintained cottage in a lovely setting all be it a bit off the track. The cottage was very clean, and the owner was very helpful with information on the area. Although the cottage is for four people only having 4 coffee mugs meant that we were using the dishwasher when it wasn't full.

A beautiful well maintained clean holiday cottage. Excellent location. Luxury with the added joy of being amongst nature. Pleasant helpful owners who take pride in the property and make every effort to provide a happy memorable holiday for their clients. A must place to stay.

Great place. Stayed for a week. 2 adults 2 dogs. The host were lovely and very welcoming. Pond Cottage had all the amenities you would need no matter the weather. Lovely outdoor space to sit and chill either at the table and chairs or in the hot tub. Comfy lounge with tv games and books for when the weather wasn't so great. Full access to the grounds and fields, the dogs loved both the fields and the stream in the woods. They also made great friends with Casper and Bailey owners 2 dogs who were absolutely sweethearts and were daily visitors to us. Location was lovely and quiet but near enough that we could go to beaches and other places easily.

Outstanding accommodation, absolutely perfect for what we were looking for in terms of relaxing break, dog friendly & well situated. Philippa & Mark are great hosts, friendly & there if needed for info. The whole cottage was spotless & well equipped with of course the hot tub there for a soak after a day out with the dawg... I would highly recommend a stay at Pond Cottage, 1010...

What a super property in a truly wonderful and tranquil rural location yet within a short drive of excellent local pub and convenience store. Pond cottage, one of two lovely detached holiday cottages in a small complex of three homes in all including the owners' former farm house, is a genuine delight. The property is unusual perhaps with it's inverted accommodation but exceptionally spacious throughout, interesting in layout and ideal in particular for two couples with it's two large double bedrooms each having extremely generous bathroom or shower room but separated by a large entrance hall with useful fully equipped utility cupboard under the stairs. A single step down at the end of the large loungediner leads into an additional seating area with two comfortable chairs from which visitors can admire a stunning variety of birds on the nut feeder and balcony immediately outside. The excellent KitchenBreakfast Room completes the accommodation and is not only extremely well fitted and equipped but again unusually generous in size. The covered hot tub just outside the back door was more than a bonus, it was a delight in itself with direct outlook over the grounds which themselves afford a gorgeous setting with plenty of opportunity for dog walking. Last but not least, a special mention must be made of the owners Mark and Philippa who are most helpful, warm and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. Casper and Bailey, the owners' very friendly Spaniels, contributed to that welcome too !

Friendly and welcoming hosts. Ideal location for a countrycoastal holiday to get away from the hustle and stresses of everyday life. Lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep. Very dog friendly. Lots of places within 10 minute drive for eating out. Huge amount of land to explore and relax in.

Beautiful quiet setting and house is very clean, and well equipped. Comfortable beds and loved the bird watching balcony. Mark and Philipa are very welcoming hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Its a great place to explore mid Wales.

Lovely in all aspects. Location lovely and quiet, but easy reach of local beaches and attractions. Facilitles excellent. Loved the balcony to watchfeed birds and the hot tub was a welcome end of day luxury. Owners very helpful and friendly. Owners doggies very welcoming and well behaved. Keep doing what you're doing. An absolutely beautifully converted property. Every detail has been considered, the kitchen is of a very high standard and well equipped. Hot tub easy to use, extensive gardens and adjacent fields wonderfully kept and perfect for dog and human walking. Highly recommend the property and the lovely owners, Philippa and Mark, who were on hand should any need arise. Nearby New Quay is a stunning coastal location with dolphins to be seen from land as well as beautiful beaches. Thanks for a lovely stay P and M!

Fabulous barn conversion situated on 40 acres of gardens and fields. Very well appointed and comfortable. Extremely clean and warm. Gorgeous upstairs sunroom with all the evening sun. Very friendly hosts, dogs & cats. Recommend highly.

Pond Cottage is delightful and very comfortable. We had a very relaxing two week break there and our hosts and their pets were most welcoming. Shame the weather wasn't right for us to use the hot tub, but there were lots of places around to visit. We would highly recommend this cottage.

We spent a fabulous week at Pond Cottage, in a beautiful, quiet location, with just the birds as company, we slept like logs. The cottage was spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable. On arrival were lots of little extras like dog treats, Easter cakes and milk, which we really appreciated. It was one one the best equipped places weve stayed in & the information pack was full of extremely useful suggestions. Our hosts were on site to welcome us and were friendly and helpful. Great location to explore Cardigan bay, cant wait to return.

Lovely area, theres a beautiful bird watching section upstairs thats lovely to sit and watch the birds. Nice peaceful place.

We had a fantastic week at Pond Cottage. It's a very good location for exploring the Cardigan Bay area and beyond. The cottage was immaculately clean, had all the necessary facilities, yet very homely too. The hot tub was topdrawer. Phillipa and Mark were very friendly, helpful hosts and Casper and Bailey were lovely to have around. All in all, a great property and location, and very peaceful too. Would highly recommend!

Mark and Philppa were so accommodating and made our stay so enjoyable. The cottage was excellent and spotlessly clean. The setting was also so peaceful and relaxing. I can't leave feedback without mentioning the two dogs, kasper and Bailey. They were so gentle with our grandson who has autism that we wanted to take them home with us. Overall just excellent. Look forward to going back.

Pond Cottage is not to be missed. Maintained to a high standard with great facilities and spotlessly clean. Ideally situated to explore the central Wales coastline and a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day, what more could anyone want? This cottage is outstanding and if anyone has a week to spare and if available then book it, you will not be disappointed

We had the most amazing stay at Pond Cottage. Set in a beautiful, peaceful location. With the added bonus of a lovely hot tub. Our Golden retriever made the most of the gorgeous surrounding walks and streams. He especially got on well the the owners dogs, who were adorable. Philippa and Mark were always available for plenty of local advise about places to go and see but never intrusive. We would highly recommend the cottage. Thankyou for a perfect week.

Great lication and lovely property, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Hot tub is a great feature. Very close to New Quay 10mins drive max with it's lovely beach. Also close to Cardigan, Aberport, Mwnt, Tresaith and Llangrannog for more beaches.

Very nice cottage, well equipped and very clean. Great hot tub. Nice to walk dog down to woodland at the bottom of the garden. The walkway over pound needs maintenance, but there is still good space to exercise your dog. The owners dogs are very friendly and although you see them now and again they are not continually lose around the garden so dont be put off if you dont like dogs

This beautiful cottage was decorated with so much love for our Christmas break. The tree a magical touch. The layout of the property is fantastic. Both bathrooms are absolutely stunning. Everything was so clean. As an enthusiastic cook I enjoyed the spacious kitchen, well appointed cupboards, well equipped with everything you could need. The hot tub was an added bonus. The weather was really not that great, but we very much enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely rural spot, quiet, nature all around, we especially loved the birdfeeder with all the guests including several woodpeckers. Would love to go back there again.

We love, love, loved our wonderful stay in Pond Cottage . Our dogs Saffy and Alfie loved it too, making friends with the owners and their dogs. Pond Cottage is perfect. Its immaculate and so well equipped with everything one could possibly need. The Hot Tub was a lovely way to end a day exploring the spectacular Cardigan coast. Pippa and Mark were exceptional hosts. We cant wait to return next year.

We had a lovely peaceful weeks holiday stay at Pond Cottage. The cottage is set in lovely country surroundings although situated close to many lovely villages, beaches & Towns. The cottage was very clean and specious, , home from home, with everything we needed . We really loved the Hot Tub, which was a real treat to come back to after a day out. The hosts & their dogs were very friendly & as we didnt know the area , they suggested many places to visit which we appreciated. Would definitely love to return to Pond Cottage in the future.

Lovely location, the cottage was spotlessly clean and the owners were very attentive. We loved being able to let our dogs roam free with the owners dogs in the extensive grounds. A very relaxing holiday.

This is a beautiful little hide away on an even more picturesque property, not to mention to two lovely owners and there sweet brood of dogs and cats. A great base 30 mins from Cardigan and beautiful beaches, 45 from Aberystwyth and Devils Bridge, only 10 mins from New Quay. Well worth a visit, you wont regret it!

It would be useful for instructions on some appliances especially if you've never used that type of appliance. The hot tub was a big bonus we had lots of enjoyment watching the birds feeding on the balcony
