Wow. This is certainly the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. The owner met us on arrival. He was very friendly, and gave us a tour of the house, and we could see, how proud he was of it. Justly so, as he had built it himself. There was so much space, and every room was beautifully presented, and finished to a very high standard. The kitchen was amazing, with absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were huge, and having ensuites in most of them, was a great advantage for our family members of different ages. The view from the patio was beautiful, and we enjoyed meals there at night, watching the stunning sunsets. It is a great place to explore nearby towns, and seaside attractions. We found somewhere to visit every day. The neighbours next door are very friendly, and took our two small children to see the horses in the barn nearby, which they greatly enjoyed. All in all, this is a wonderful place to spend a family holiday, and we hope to return again next year. Thank you Mr. Thomas for allowing us to stay. You should be very proud of your magnificent home.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The house was amazing finished to a very high spec . There were 10 adults and we had lots of room. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The area is beautiful. The owner is so lovely, we had problems with our car and he got his mechanic out to fix it for us. The couple that live in the cottage near by were also nice and friendly. I will have no hesitation in booking this property again. We have stayed in lots of accommodation through Sykes but this is by far the best.

Beautiful property with excellent facilities for a family stay. We went as group for a family Christmas holiday so that we could all be together and it was excellent. The bedrooms are massive to accommodate travel cots etc and plenty of bathrooms. All the facilities you would need under one roof in an idyllic setting. The property is nice and warm even though its really big and has underfloor heating. The host is lovely and welcoming. Definitely going to book again.

We booked as a place to stay whilst some essential work was being completed on a property we purchased within walking distance. Huw the owner was fantastic and it really helped that this property truly is a home from home with everything you would expect and much more. The bedrooms are huge, the kitchen is amazing and the WiFi is fantastic. The laundry room was a big help too. Everything with this property is to an extremely high standard.

Absolutely beautiful house, perfect for a big family holiday! We had a baby, a toddler, two dogs and 9 adults in our party. The house is beautifully furnished and we couldn't really fault anything. The only issue we had was that there was an ironing board but no iron! Luckily we had brought one from home but to future holidaymakers, you may like to note this. Huw the owner of the property was on hand very easily for any help or advice. Lovely, friendly guy who is clearly very proud of his holiday home. We enjoyed seeing the horses everyday too. Shame about the very mixed weather but we had an absolutely lovely family holiday and would gladly visit again. Thank you Huw

Grooms Quartrers is the best accommodation that my family of ten have stayed in. It was large comfortable, and everything worked well. Hew the owner was on hand. The weather could have been better One criticism , five o clock entry on first day is a bit mean, however I would highly recommend this property. Regards Ben 20824 to 90824

A beautiful property in a beautiful location. Both owner and neighbours very helpful and friendly.

There were nine adults staying for a week and we all the had a fabulous time. Huw the owner was there to greet us on arrival day and we saw him quite a few times about the farm and he told us about the Amman Valley Trotting Club and so we had a lovely afternoon watching the racing! The house was a dream to stay in and there was plenty of room for us all as the place was huge. We also made use of the barbque and the outside eating area when the sun was out! Everything was clean and the furniture and fittings were of a very high standard.

This property is just an absolute dream! Everything about it was just incredible. Kids loved having the freedom of playing outside and seeing the horse's. Neighbours were lovely and dropped some delicious home made clairs around to us and they were great with the kids. Beautiful beach within a 40 minute drive and local tesco just a couple minutes drive away. Local park with water splash park for the little ones was good fun. Enjoyed a mystery adventure guide around Cardiff which is about an hour away which was enjoyed by all and a quick stop in Barry so the kids could enjoy the fun fair. Overall the property has great location if you don't mind driving a little. Much enjoyed holiday in an absolutely beautiful house.

Beautiful house very well equipped with everything we needed could have done with a decent pair of scissors though

To access the property you have to have a fob to get through the gates. The owner let us in on our first arrival. We spent Christmas week in Grooms quarters. It is huge. There was a nice christmas tree though we also bought our own fairy lights for the sitting room. The kitchen is well stocked and we could do lots of cooking and baking with ease. Only had to buy a food blender. Lots of tea towels and towels were available. Big double fridge and freezer was big enough for food and drink for 8. Tescos was close by. The place was warm and underfloor heating lovely. It was the five bathrooms and bedrooms that sold it to us as we are three families staying there. There are large crates for two dogs which i thought was great though I don't have a dog myself. The washer and dryer was well used. There are plenty of walks direct from the property though it pretty much rained all week so we were not out all that long each day. The only thing not to my taste was the old fashioned bedding, bedroom chairs and big red sofa which were like something out of an old people's home but we moved the furniture around which helped it feel more cosy. The owner rather read us the riot act about being clean and leaving it as found it which to be honest rather perplexed and annoyed me as I would not have done otherwise. But i guess they have had bad experiences before. That said I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The positives far far outweighed any negatives.

Great place to stay for family get togethers, the property is huge and very well maintained . Huw the owner is very accomodating and was genuinely pleased to help on the odd occasions when we needed advice. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

We had a great stay at the Grooms Quarters 6 adults. 2 teens and 1 dog. The welcome was excellent, with a tour of the property and the facilities it has. The house is completed to a high spec, which was lovely at making our stay so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we could have needed throughout our stay. For example, we would usually bring our own wok and slow cooker, as most properties do not provide these from our experience. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find large pans, slow cooker and more at the property! The owner really has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The views are amazing and so quiet.

Absolutely 5 star. This property was perfect for our family holiday comprising of three generations, it is very spacious and immaculately presented. The rooms are very comfortable. I have booked a lot of properties through Sykes and this was definitely one of the best. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal for a large group. The owner is very welcoming and helpful, always on hand of needed. The great views from the property are a bonus.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, and would recommend this terrific house. We had 9 people plus a baby, and the bedroombathroom layout meant that everyone was catered for, and the large lounge and kitchen were ideal for family time. Our host Huw was really helpful and it was a pleasure to watch him with the horses each day.

Excellent house for the two families and Huw was a pleasure to talk to especially as he was interested in following our nephews future rugby career. House huge, even though we spent most of the time in the kitchen socialising. Bedrooms also huge and great to have the large number of bathrooms. Would def book again.

This property was very clean, modern and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations and the host was very friendly and helpful. I've been to many cottages but I have to say, this is by far the best place I've stayed in. I will definitely recommend this property to others and hope to visit again soon.

We had a fantastic time, the house was absolutely amazing. There were 5 grown up couples in our group and there was loads of room for all of us, the house is huge. My absolute only criticism would be lack of kitchen equipment, could have done with a jug or similar for the microwave, a decent frying pan and some decent pans. I know lots of people don't cook when they go away I cooked a full english breakfast for 10 of us and it was a challenge. But, honestly, it would not stop us going again, in fact we probably will. It was wonderful.

A stunning property with excellent facilities, 4 families shared the property 8 adults 2 children 7 and 11 and a 4 month old baby with plenty of room for everyone. Well situated for exploring the surrounding countryside and beaches. Huw the owner was welcoming and on hand for any problems or queries, of which there were none.

Huw was a brilliant host he was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble and he helped us when needed. The house was fantastic! Really spacious and comfortable for a large family group of 9. We consisted of a family of 5 plus both sets of grandparents so it was brilliant to have 2 huge ensuite rooms for the grandparents and then the third floor for the kids. The children loved the huge bath 6 year old could swim in it! and the fact that all the bedrooms had tvs in them! They especially loved the fact that they had Netflix in every room too. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had great days out on the beaches of the Gower. We also visited Llyn Llech Owain country park, the mumbles, fed the red kites and went to Dinefwr castle. We also walked along the river in Ammanford. There were things that we would have liked to have done but they werent open in February and we have all said that we would definitely visit this area again. Would 100 recommend.

The Grooms Quarters is a beautiful property, the photo's on here really don't do it justice. The facilities are superb, with very modern bathrooms with showers throughout and one bath. All rooms are airy and spacious, with comfortable beds, and cosy furniture. The dining roomkitchen is well fitted out with all modern conveniences, and the dining table is plenty big enough, and comfortable, for 10 people. The underfloor heating on the ground floor is amazing, and lovely to wake up to on a cold, wet winter morning. The owner greeted us on arrival and gave me a guided tour of the property, including the use of all the systems installed. There was ice in the freezer, two bottles of Prosecco in the fridge, and various other kitchen items had been supplied for our use. There was also a lovely Christmas tree set up and decorated with lights and decorations in the hallway. The property is situated on a working farm, but there is practically no noise or disturbance, and it is nice to watch the horses being exercised in the mornings. I would highly recommend this lovely property for a familyfriends getaway, it is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area, and also a lovely, quiet, and peaceful place to relax, kick back, and forget the outside world. You will not be disappointed with this property, it is worth every penny of the price asked, and then some.

This was a lovely house to stay in for a few days with our extended family. The only 2 things I would mention is that a lot of noise carries to the higher or lower floors which is not helpful when small children are getting to sleep or older people being woken up early in the morning when the little ones were playing downstairs. There were some kitchen aids missing like a measuring jug and some scales. Otherwise it was really well equipped and very spacious.

Superb! New large property, well equipped and in a quiet site just outside a small town. plenty to do close by, including walking in the Brecon Beacons. What more could you want?

We had wonderful 7 days break at this cottage. Very spacious, clean property. Loved the lay out. Adequate space for 10 people. Host was very helpful throughout the stay for any issues. Fantastic views with the grettings from horses in the farm.Tesco superstore within one mile. Central location for small day trips.

Incredibly spacious, extremely comfortable property with a relaxed feel. Our group of 9 never felt cramped or fought over a bathroom and enjoyed it immensely. The setting was lovely, with beautiful horses, and there were really great circular walks for the dog from just down the road. The kids loved skateboarding down the drive. Only point to note was that the games room was occupied during our stay but we didnt need the space anyways.

Lovely clean, spacious property set in quiet countryside setting. Would happily recommend.

A fantastic break largely due to the beautiful setting and surroundings alongside the fantastic accommodation. Huw was extremely accommodating, welcoming and helpful. The house and facilities were stunning the family had thought of everything! My family and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend Grooms Quarters.

This cottage is absolutely lovely really well kitted out, really clean, spacious rooms, all high quality could not fault it.

The pictures don't do this house justice it is immaculate with every little thing you could possible want already thought of and if it isn't the owner will go above and beyond to get it for you. i cant recommend this cottage highly enough and i cant wait to come back and enjoy my holiday in style and comfort again 5 plus
