We had such a lovely week at this comfortable cottage. The fields were a bonus for our dog Monty and the views beautiful too. Especially enjoyed breakfast in the garden watching the visiting birds each morning. Digby & Penny were wonderful hosts and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit. The cottage is in perfect location for exploring the area and youre only 40 minutes drive from the stunning coastline and beaches. Highly recommend, would happily stay again. Thank you.

This was our second visit to this property. We were pleased to find it was just as relaxing as last time. The cottage was comfortable and clean and we particularly liked the garden and the visiting birds. Penny and Digby were very welcoming and are on hand if you need them.

I'll cut to the chase with the negative parts first, there is no way on earth we're ever going to enjoy a Sykes Cottage or air B&B as much again. We've used both sites from cost cutting for hotels for HenStag do's all the way up to a sleeps 12 with a hot tub. This place blew our minds, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the lovely people they are, the secluded environment, oh my word it is just a little slice of paradise. When I walked out such perfectly manicured lawns and land, the hedges so pristine, you really feel like Lord of the Manor. There are enclosed spaces for dogs, a huge field, a segregated picnic bench that's enclosed once again, perfectly mowed grass... if you have a dog this is perfect. If you have a bike or an Ebike this is perfect. It's about 34 mile to the woods and then it's complete solitude all the way through to Lampeter. The only noise is the birds, its and absolute sanctuary and is an absolute gem of a place to find. Absolutely the best sykes or air b&b we've ever stayed. We both shed a tear from leaving. Book it. Do it. Exceptional. I just wish I could upload the vids and pics on this review as the listing pics DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE. Just want to go back.

Ty Twt is a lovely cosy cottage, its very comfortable and welcoming with a great log burner. It's well equipped and welcome pack complete with Welsh cake was very nice. The owners Penny & Digby are lovely couple and nothing is to much trouble. The bird feeder in back garden is amazing with all sorts of birds feeding from it all day long. We had fantastic break there and will be back there soon.

Our second time here absolutely love it. Im sure we will be back for a third time. Penny and Digby are very welcoming.

Fantastic stay. The property owners couldnt have been more helpful and welcoming. It has been so well thought out, I did a lot of cooking and we wanted for nothing. We had simply the most wonderful break at ty twy , An amazing holiday cottage and wonderful gardens with two beautiful fields landscape exceptionally well . Digby & Penny made us feel so welcomed right from the start . And the added bonus of welcome for Stanley our dog to run free in there two acre enclosure.

The owners Jenny and Digby were very helpful and friendly couldn't ask for better. The cottage and grounds were emaculate, great grounds for our dog to run around in.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in a cottage out in the country side, if it is peace and quiet you want this is the place, central for trips out to seaside resorts, Dilby and Penny the owners are lovely, greeting us on arrival, they are there if you need them very approachable. An absolute dream of a cottage to stay in. It was perfect, and set in such beautiful surroundings. Our hosts Penny and Digby, were lovely, so helpful and welcoming. The cottage was immaculate, with a thoughtful welcome pack provided for us and Jasper. Beautiful walks around the cottage grounds and from doorstep. We were lucky enough to spot red kids, woodpeckers, as well as a number of tit varieties and squirrels. If peace quiet and relaxation is what you want, you couldn't ask for anywhere more perfect. Ty Twt is a lovely splendid cottage full of charm and character. It was extremely clean, comfortable and homely to the point we couldn't find fault with anything. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. The wood burner added another dimension making it feel very cosy and romantic. The information pack was very informative and useful. The back garden and the surrounding grounds were beautiful both for us and our dog, Peggy. It was an all together wonderful stay at the cottage and Digby and Penny were so friendly and delightful. We had the most wonderful time in this little cottage. The location is absolutely perfect for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The grounds are beautifully maintained and really secure for our dog. The views are incredible up on the hill. We drove no more than an hour to various beaches and towns, Abaraeron, Llangollen, New Quay and Aberystwyth. The cottage itself was warm, spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Its one of the nicest places weve ever stayed in. Finally, the hosts Penny and Digby were so friendly and helpful. Well be booking again but for longer next time!

What can we say, well not a bad word! The cottage was perfect for myself, my husband and our dog. It was a home away from home, we got so lucky with the weather and got to spend so much time in the garden and grounds. There are so many lovely walks in the local area and the owners, Penny and Digby recommended several places for us to visit. Nothing was ever too much for them and they made our stay just that extra bit special! Would we stay again, absolutely!!! Already looking at dates for next year. The grounds and gardens were full of wildlife, if youre a twitcher you wont be disappointed. A slice of heaven in Llanfair and Im so sad our holiday had come to an end.

Beautiful stay for the week at Ty Twt. Penny and Digby couldnt have been more friendly and accommodating. The cottage was beautifully clean and had countless personal touches from a welcome basket to a book sharing corner on the landing. Ty Twt had everything you needed for cooking& to say our 4 legged baby enjoyed the stay would be an understatement! Frank loved the dog field and making friends with Poppy and Peca. Penny & Digby gave us lots of tips and pointers on where to go in the local area and had provided plenty of leaflets in the cottage to inspire our stay. The garden of the cottage was beautiful and the surrounding grounds were beautifully kept. We had a lovely time watching the birds in the garden& using the binoculars left by Penny& Digby. Ty Twt is a fabulous haven for peace and tranquillity. The cottage surpassed all our needs lovely little private garden with amazing birds visiting the feeder continuously we saw a woodpecker, sparrows, blue tits, great tits, blackbirds, robins and chaffinches oh, and a squirrel. The skylight in the bedroom gave us our own private viewing of the myriad of stars visible in the night sky. This was very hypnotic and added to our sleep quality. The owners were lovely people so helpful and kind nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved the scrumptious homemade chocchip and fudge cookies which we devoured very quickly. Our Husky Malamute, Ariya, loved the dog exercising field and we made good use of it in our short stay. She really enjoyed her freedom too. We will definitely be returning as soon as we possibly can. We spent a great 3 days here with our springer spaniel. Owners were very helpful even when my wife took a fall due to our dogs lead entangling her by providing the use of a walking stick. the garden is enclosed allowing the dog to wander safely. There is also plenty of outdoor space for the dog to wander safely. good log burner with a fire guard , wifi ok & central heating.

A lovely cottage in the countryside. We had the most relaxing week and our dog had a great time too! The cottage was very clean and provided with all the utilities you might need, the bed was super comfortable and if you have a dog you couldn't ask for more. There is an enclosed field you can use to let your dog run off lead and it's a proper big field. The owners are very nice and shared their knowledge of the area which helped us choosing the best places to visit. Highly recommended!
