Heron House is a stone-built country cottage in Talley, Carmarthenshire. Part of the Abbey Cottages group, it sits beside Upper Talley Lake and overlooks the ruins of a 12th-century Talley Abbey you can see the abbey directly from the bedroom window. The cottages were literally built from stones of that same ruined abbey.

Talley is a quiet, peaceful village surrounded by 23 acres of meadow and hedgerows. Walk to the lake shore in minutes, explore Talley Woodlands or head into Bannau Brycheiniog National Park just 8.5 miles away. Llandeilo recently voted Best Place to Live in Wales by the Sunday Times is just 7.4 miles away.
