Welsh Valley House Reviews

Samuel
Fantastic family stay for two adults and two kids. Perfect base to explore Wales. The house was super clean and bedding clean and beds made. We will be back!

I dont expect to go on holiday to stay in such a dirty house. From the kitchen sides full of crumbs, inside the cupboards absolutely filthy. Checked under the sofa and it was disgusting, crumbs, sultanas, a bitten off finger nail, tops off bottles of lager. I dont expect to get the hoover out soon as we arrive. The floor under the sofa was thick with dust. The summer house you wouldnt let a dog stay in there, even 2 wasps nests. Why is no one from Sykes checking out these properties? I have many photos as I will be taking this further. The notes even asked for it to be left how you found it!
Excellent property. Newly furnished and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space. Great to have dedicated parking space for two cars. Garden set out with chairs, summer house and cycle shed. Only issue was that the pub had stopped serving food, but the fish and chips were excellent. The nearby NISA had everything we needed and very friendly staff. Great trips to nearby NT properties, Gower, Carmarthen and Swansea
Michelle
The property was beautifully clean, spacious and lovely for our short stay. Contact with the owner was straightforward and swift responses were received to queries. Location was easy to find and access.
Lovely place to stay and a great base to enjoy explore the area.
Amazing. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Absolutely everything you could ever need was provided. I loved the quality coffee maker too. My daughters were very happy staying here.
The house was perfect for our 3 generation family holiday. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were excellent. We loved the gazebo at the top of the garden, and chilled out there several times.
As per my comments and pictures sent. The kitchen cupboards were dirty. There was a pair of dirty pants in one of the bedrooms. The door handle was broken to bedroom one. As per my picture it looks like it had been forcefully opened as the barrel was bent it had several repair attempts.
Thank you for a lovely stay will check see if free when go there again in the year thank you
Matthew
The house was great, excellent facilities, equipped with everything you could need, and feeling like home. It's a great base to explore nearby places such as Llandeilo or the Black Mountain and the Brecon Beacons National Park. Then nice, quiet and comfortable to relax at the end of a day. We were so happy with it we extended the stay, so would recommend it.
The house is spotlessly clean and spacious with three super comfortable beds and a lovely garden with a covered sitting area. The Brecons are close by and its easy enough to visit the stunning beaches of the Gower and Pembrokeshire on day trips. The incredible views and walks from Herberts Quarry are only a 15 minute drive away and highly recommended. Couldnt ask for more as a base to explore this beautiful part of Wales.
Robbie
