Llyn Cae Ty Nant Fishery Holiday Let Reviews

Jessica
We had the best week here. The property offered us a holiday of a lifetime! There is everything you need to live comfortably, and the hope tub on the decking overlooking the lake is such a treat. Butthe best bit about the holiday was the hospitality of Steve and Sioned. Allowing us to paddle board and swim in the beautiful lake. Constituting to our children saying it was the best holiday ever! There is lots to see and do nearbywed recommend the beaches, woodland walks, and the Rheidol railway trip from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge too. We will absolutely be back again!
Harley
This honestly was the perfect holiday. Gorgeous peaceful location felt so lucky waking up every morning to the view and the hot tub. Sioned and Steve were the most wonderful hosts, giving us a basket of goodies on arrival and just being so warm and inviting. Suffering with the holiday blues we all cant wait to come back again. Thank you so much.
Trevor
Lovely welcome hamper awaited us along with a couple of cold drinks in the fridge Comfortable property with all necessary facilities. Very quiet location with fabulous views from the front over the fishing lake to the fields and hills beyond. My wife enjoyed a regular swim there access to the lake simple and just a few steps from the property. I ran regularly and there are loads of very quiet minor roads to explore. The owners live in a separate property onsite. Lovely couple who are happy to chat when you have questions etc but otherwise inobtrusive and leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. As someone else noted, the wifi is a bit patchy, so would suggest downloading something to watch first, rather than live streaming. Less heavy internet use searches, papers, books etc seem fine. Sky TV basic package, with ability to pause and record programmes works well. For a quiet, comfortable and relaxing place to either just enjoy or use as a base to explore the area I would absolutely recommend staying here. We stayed for 10 nights and would happily have stayed longer.
This is a first class property both internally and externally. The owner Steve is very helpful and friendly. There is everything that you could need for a break away. The property overlooks the owners lake and it is set in a very rural and quiet area. You can sit and watch the birds in peaceful bliss. New Quay 20 minutes is worth a visit, it is a lovely sea side village which over looks the bay where Dolphins can be seen swimming. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting then do not hesitate to book this property.

Fabulous week, better than going abroad! Absolutely beautiful setting with fantastic accommodation, best we've stayed in just idyllic. We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside cottage! The location is peaceful and scenicperfect for relaxing and getting away from it all. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. A big shoutout to Steve, the owner, who was absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Wed definitely come back again!
Oh my word, this lodge and setting is spectacular. A peaceful haven with friendly but unobtrusive owners who were so friendly and eager to ensure our holiday was perfect, and it was. Red kites, carp, cuckoos, owls, we had them all. Sadly, in past couple of years, I have developed severe mobility issues, but trying to make adjustments to ensure we can still enjoy holidays as close to how we used to as possible. This lodge has wrap around decking which I could manage safely. Thank you.
Rural lodge situated by a calming lake, idyllic scenery and a fantastic host. Perfect for couples or family retreat or holiday.

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Llyn Cae Ty Nant Fishery Holiday Let We had an incredible stay at Llyn Cae Ty Nant Fishery Holiday Let! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem. The lodge is set in a stunning and secluded location, overlooking a beautiful small lake, surrounded by the breathtaking Welsh countryside. The scenery is simply spectacular, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The lodge itself was modern, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even though we stayed during a particularly cold spell in February, the lodge was incredibly warm and cosy, providing the perfect retreat from the chilly weather. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a smart TV, a hot tub, and highspeed internet. The internet was particularly helpful as we had no mobile reception with Vodafone, so having a reliable connection made a big difference. Our host, Steve, was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he made sure we felt welcome and at home. He took the time to walk us through everything, showing us how everything worked and making sure we had everything we needed. He was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and clearly takes great pride in ensuring his guests have the best experience possible. A special touch was the lovely welcome basket he left for us, filled with snacks and a bottle of wine such a thoughtful and muchappreciated gesture! Unfortunately, due to the cold weather, we couldnt explore the surrounding area as much as we would have liked, but that didnt take away from our experience. Sitting inside, warm and cosy, watching the stunning scenery through the large glass panels with a hot cup of tea was an experience in itself. This is, without a doubt, one of the best holiday lets weve ever stayed in, and we will definitely be returning! If youre looking for a peaceful, picturesque escape with topnotch facilities and a fantastic host, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, peaceful, scenic place. Couldnt ask for more. Steve the host was brilliant, helpful and friendly. Accommodation was fantastic, clean, comfortable and everything you need. Location was stunning and the views just lovely. Hot tub was just what was needed and in great clean working order. Thoroughly recommend a stay there and we will be going back for sure. Cheers Steve!!
An amazing place to stay , the views are spectacular peace and quiet just what ... An amazing place to stay , the views are spectacular peace and quiet just what we wanted, been to many holiday let's but this place beats them all by far the best we have ever stayed in we loved it so much we booked to go back again next year while we were still down there , thank you Steve for making sure everything was just right , see you next year
We had the pleasure of a 4 night stay at the lodge a couple of weeks ago and we're still talking about it! The lodge is beautifully built and presented and was perfect for our family of four. It is equipped with everything you need with comfortable beds, great facilities and it is immaculately clean. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the kitchenlaundry was set up perfectly for our needs. The hot tub was a real luxury and maintained to a high standard throughout our stay. The views of the lake are stunning and it really is the perfect place to relax, unwind and connect with nature. Steve was an excellent host, recommending great local places to visit and being on hand to help us with anything we might need. The lodge is a short drive from Aberaeron which is well worth a visit and we also enjoyed the local Fantasy Farm Park. We took the Vale of Rheidol steam railway from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge and waterfalls which was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by our kids, aged 10 and 8. That said, our favourite thing by far was returning to the peace, comfort and tranquility of the lodge and soaking up the beautiful surroundings. All in all, we can't recommend a holiday here highly enough. Thank you Steve for a wonderful stay and making our holiday one to remember. We hope to visit again soon.
Darren
Fantasic modern lodge, kept spotelessly clean by the owner, welcome basket of goods was a nice touch, the welsh cakes were particularly nice. Very peaceful place to relax with family. Many thanks to Steve, i left my jacket hanging on the back of a door and he posted it back for me as soon as i got in touch, thanks again.
Excellent Property lovely outlook over lake, Owners very helpful, Hot Tub lovely. locally there is a Pub and the food is excellent We had a Sunday Lunch and it was only 9.00 There is petrol station very nearby.
Steve the host was so attentive, the lodge was so clean and beautiful the jacuzzi was just perfect for a relaxing evening, you do need use of a car as its in middle of nowhere, but this is what we wanted, lots to see if you have a short drive, a welcome basket is also included which was lovely, great to have all the facilities that you would have at home especially the washing machine, the log fire was amazing to sit in front of after being in jacuzzi, beautiful lake, would highly recommend.
We loved our stay in the peace and quite. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Everything on one level suited us as stairs may have been an issue. Cabin was very smart and modern. We didn't need it but a outside ramp was nice to see. Overall a great stay would definitely recommend to those looking to get away from it all
Sharon
Lovely peaceful getaway, perfect for that peace and quiet away from it all to recharge your batteries. Steve was very nice and welcoming and only a call away if you needed anything.
Richard
Just spent a week at this truly amazing place and can't wait to come back again. It was so large and spacious inside and out with everything you could possibly need for a week or two stay. The views were spectacular across the lake and countryside and very tranquil and relaxing. Steve, the host , was excellent and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and was very happy to help you in anyway he could.
What a beautiful place to stay. So peaceful and tranquil. Lodge is spotlessly clean and a great size. Views across the lake are stunning, especially in the evening. Hosts are lovely. Highly recommended if you just need to chill out or take days out visiting places.
Absolutely fantastic, we have nothing to complain about. Very clean, modern and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble for Steve and Sioned, they were very friendly and helpful. Suggested some great places to visit and spent time chatting with us, showing us the local wildlife. We would definitely return.
This property is a little jem set in the heart of the Welsh countryside. Accommodation is of a very high standard modern, very clean and with an amazing aspect enjoying glorious views across the Teifi valley and Cambrian Mountains. With the seaside only 20 minutes away, residents have the benefit of both worlds. The property will appeal to anyone searching for peace and tranquillity. This said there is also much to do in the area from adventure sports to enjoying gourmet cuisine. The owners are on site to deal with any queries. They proved to be the perfect hosts with nothing being too much trouble. We will certainly return and are indeed already counting the days.

We had a wonderful break in serene surroundings. Host was very obliging and even gave us a lift to our chosen restaurant. Spotless and comfortable but most lovely was lake and its wildlife as well as hot tub and views from it.
Jackie
Amazing property, with a gorgeous view across the lake and fields. The cottage was lovely, a real homefromhome, wellequipped, modern, and very clean with a log burner which kept it really cozy and warm. We really enjoyed spending time in the great hot tub! We were provided with a lovely welcome hamper on our arrival. Steve, the owner was so helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome, and gave us information on places to visit and eat. It is such a relaxing and quiet place to stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Absolutely lovely stay, couldnt ask for better hosts. The rental was remote being 20 minutes drive to anywhere close, perfect for a secluded holiday. Surrounded by small country lanes I wouldnt recommend going in a silly car. The owners recommended places for us to eat nearby and showed us around the property when we arrived. Theyd even provided us with milk, tea and biscuits when we got there which was very welcome after the long drive. The WiFi was a little sketchy warning for people who like to take their work on holiday but I dont think it couldve been better what with the isolation. The shower was divine, genuinely the best holiday shower Ive had. The beds were firm and clean, the decking wasnt slippy despite the weather and the hot tub was easy to use and had a fantastic view. Though if youre a light sleeper I might recommend earbuds just because the rain had a tendency to get a little loud, but not unpleasant. The property itself is impressive, perfect size for us. Thank you to our hosts for a lovely stay we couldnt have been happier.
Macorley
Steve was a fantastic host. Incredibly helpful and I am grateful that I got the opportunity to stay in the beautiful cabin for a couple of nights. The cabin is clean, comfortable and extremely well decorated with fantastic views of the lake and landscape. I recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in the Welsh countryside!
Joseph
Incredibly property in a beautiful setting. Surrounded by wildlife and fantastic views. Steve owner was massively helpful and friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Great week, will look to return for another visit next year
Shannon
Steve and Molly the Cat were amazingly friendly hosts. The cottage was lovely, modern and has one of the best views. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay.
Matthew
We have stayed in lots of cottages over the years and I usually find faults where ever we go,but not in this place, spotlessly clean very very comfortable. The scenery is incredible. If like Me your looking for some peace and quiet look no further than here, all you hear are the songs of birds it's fantastic. We didn't get to meet Steve's wife but Steve on his own was more than helpful such a great person to have nearby if you should need anything. Infact my daughter left her coat behind and Steve actually brought it back to our house personally. You won't get service like that anywhere else.we will definitely be going back . I'm not saying he would take everyone's coat back to them mind lol
Absolutely stunning! One of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of staying in and the perfect location for a peaceful getaway. The owners could not have been more wonderful and were on hand if we needed anything but never felt to be imposing on our stay. This was the best place to come back to after spending the days exploring the local area as you could simply sit back and enjoy the views as they changed through the day. It really is a breathtaking and tranquil place to be!

Sioned and Steve, thank you for the amazing time we've had and for recommending Angelato too!!!! We cannot wait to return. Sioned also kindly purchased a baby cot to ensure our 7 month old was comfortable too! Steve as discussed, I am happy to move there permanently haha! Hassan

Totally enjoyed our week stay at the cottage, very peaceful and relaxing with a nice lakeside view. My daughter especially enjoyed swimming in the lake and didn't want to leave. Overall a great week for rewinding and beaches not too far away.
Carole
Beautiful, peaceful, light, very clean and spacious comfortable lodge with stunning lake and countryside views. Hubby really enjoyed talking fishing with our friendly helpful hosts and the welcome hamper was a thoughtful touch jam is delicious! The surrounding area was so lovely with plenty of beaches and coves to explore, did not want to leave . Thank you Steve and Sioned
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and we had the best time! The property itself was beautiful and the views were gorgeous and the couple who owned it were so welcoming and helpful. There were shops within a 15 minute drive away and we spent a few days out exploring. We cant recommend this stay enough to family and friends!!! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you again to Sioned and Steve for making our stay so lovely! Em & Adam
Our stay in Wales was perfect from beginning to end, Sioned & Steve were fabulous hosts! We were greeted on arrival & shown around their beautiful lodge which was both spotless and very spacious. The view from the lodge and decking area was simply stunning! We received a lovely welcome hamper and the owners were available should we be in need of anything. We didn't need to ask though because everything was perfect, a real home from home with all you could possibly need and a view that was a joy to wake up to each morning. The hot tub was the icing on the cake of our stay over the week and we were very lucky with the weather. Gloriously sunny days, two of which were spent at the lodge, relaxing on the large bean bag chairs, using the hot tub and dining al fresco whilst watching the birds and carp in the lake and the red kites flying overhead. There is also plenty to do in the local area such as Aberaeron, New Quay, Tresaith and more. All have fantastic beaches and places to eat out. We had a very peaceful and relaxing break just what we had hoped for and Llyn Cae Ty Nant is a place we will definitely be returning to! Thanks once again Sioned & Steve we will be back! Roger, Lisa & Ellie

Thanks so much for our great stay!
This has to be one of the nicest lodges we have stayed in ,the view was spectacular from the living room and decking area . The lodge was immaculate throughout and well equipped with all the essentials that you need for a weekend away . There was also a welcome basket which we found a great touch ,we also had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were two lovely people and made us feel very welcome. we will Definitely be going back there.

Do not hesitate to book this holiday location, absolutely perfect for a quiet little break away from it all. The setting is perfect, the accommodation is fantastic, the hosts are lovely people! From the moment I booked this location last minute the owners were in contact via text within an hour offering any assistance needed. On the day of arrival you are given the warmest welcome & shown around the property & even given a welcome food pack, then left to your own devices with Sioned & Steve letting you know theyre available for anything you need if required. The property is very modern & furnished to a high standard with quality throughout & absolutely spotless, it is just like a home from home. The location is perfect & so peaceful, The fishery was a great view to look out onto & we witnessed the gentleman catching huge fish quite a few times, the children loved it. I would 100 recommend this property to anyone & can see why the reviews prior to mine were so good & have no doubt they will continue to be the same. Thanks Sioned & Steve for a lovely break
Property was great. Location was outstanding. Very quiet and peaceful with picturesque scenery. Cabin was warm and comfortable. The owners live onsite and are friendly and welcoming. Nice views from the hot tub. We would certainly return and recommend to friends and family.
We have stayed all over the world. North and South America, pretty much all of Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. Never have we enjoyed a stay quite like this one. Sioned and Steve were like friends we hadnt seen since school. They looked after our every need. We would wake up each morning to a recommendation for the day. Wed have the best day out ever, come home straight in the hot tub and admire the views. The accommodation itself is extraordinary, clean, comfortable and modern. With stunning beaches on your doorstep, amazing views from the hot tub, a stunning property I honestly wont stay anywhere else in Wales moving forward.
