The Hideaway Reviews

Andrew
The heritage park was amazing the lodge we stayed in was ok but had some maintenance issues especially the plastic decking that gave was and my husband went through, luckily it happened on our final day and the people who run the park were very helpful. He didnt hurt himself thankfully. Would definitely go back to the park it didnt put us off.
Michelle
Another very cosy, comfortable and warm 2 week stay at The Hideaway for us and our springies. We highly recommend The lodge, Heritage Park and the surrounding areas. If you like walking there is so much to see without using the car, lovely walks, great scenery, super beaches, lots of pubs, cafes and shops. And a great base to visit other stunning places Pembrokeshire has to offer in the car. Will definitely book The Hideaway again. Michelle and Bill

Beautiful lodge. Very nice goodies left For us thank you. Very thoughtful touches such as a full wine rack, which you replenish if you use it. Also a basket of things you may have forgotten such a toothbrushes etc. this is such a good idea. Accommodation was clean and everything had been thought of. Location was stunning. We would definitely return.
Heather
We had a lovely stay at the Hideaway, would definitely recommend. The property was very clean and had everything you need for your stay. A welcome basket for us and one from our dog was a lovely touch. The park itself is beautifully maintained with a small park for children to play in and a short walk down to Wiseman's Beach to enjoy the beach there or a coastal beach walk to Amroth or Saundersfoot. Thanks again for a lovely break, we will be back!
Lodge was very good. A bit disappointed with how close together the lodges are
Christopher
Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful caravan with everything we needed. Very cosy and comfortable. Loads of space. Very quiet and clean site.
Michelle
Lovely, comfortable, cosy and warm dog friendly lodge, in a quiet and beautiful area, with a short woodland walk to Wisemans Bridge beach. Only problem for us was the crockery in the lodge is inadequate, a new set is needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks here, have already booked for another stay. Michelle & Bill

We had a great week at the Hideaway. There were just a few things that could have made the holiday a little easier. The kitchen was adequate. Having stayed in a number if lodges it was surprising to find a small fridge and not a fridgefreezer. The small ice box at the top of the fridge was iced up and the little door would not close properly. There was a lack of baking trays in the lodge which made cooking challenging. There was a dishwasher but we didn't use if as there wasn't enough crockery for a full day's use. There was also a smell of dog urine in the small entrance hall, this was disguised by a very strong smelling air freshener when we arrived but became apparent after a day or 2. The furniture in the lounge was comfortable but a little dated, there was a very small arm chair that was low to the ground which once my father sat in he is 87 it took two of use to get him out. All in all, the lodge just needs a bit of a make over and freshen up to bring it in line with the modern well equipped lodges that we are used to staying in.
Lovely lodge but beds need new mattresss not very comfy could feel the springs in the double bed. Television needs an upgrade very small screen and had problems with this but was sorted by the owner. We enjoyed our stay but we have stayed in better lodges costing the same.
Second visit as we stayed last year. Only fault is the bed mattress in main bedroom is getting a bit tired and could do with replacing. Other than that a great place to stay. Nice and peaceful yet close to everything you may need or forget. Would recommend.
Gillian
Great property and some very thoughtful touches honesty boxes for wine and toiletries and a lovely welcome hamper. The lodge was spotless and had great quality bedding and towels. I loved the walk in wardrobe area for luggage and storage. Everything we needed was provided for our stay. I particularly liked the fact there werent lots of signs with rules on everything which can hamper relaxation. My only minor niggle was I felt the mattress in the main bedroom had some prominent springs in it which were a bit pokey!
We had a fantastic time the lodge was perfect we will definitely be returning
Joanne

Thanking you for a wonderful holiday. Appreciated the lovely hamper for us and the dogs. Very clean and everything provided for a comfortable stay. Very dog friendly. Nice to meet the host who popped over to make sure everything was ok. Great place for a base to explore Pembrokeshire which is really stunning. Loved it.
Absolutely lovely lodge. Very comfortable and clean. There was also a thoughtful hamper on entry. The site itself is a nice chill out place. Its about a 20 minute easy walk to Wiseman beach and about 10 minutes on to Saundersfoot. Lovely walk with our 2 dogs. We met the owners. Real genuine people who where very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return at some time in the future. Don't hesitate to book this

A beautiful caravan with everything we needed provided for our stay. The welcome hamper was a very nice touch. The site is lovely and quiet and the views of the ironworks is amazing especially at night.
The accommodation was great and just as described. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The site is ideally situated for visiting many local beaches, countryside and National Trust
The location of the property is well placed for walking your dog straight from the door with many beaches within easy access. The site and accommodation is well maintained and the welcome pack was a lovely touch.
Lovely clean and well equipt lodge everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The welcome pack for us and our little dog was a lovely touch. Some great walks in the area as per the information folder which was very comprehensive will almost certainly return.

We have just come back from a lovely weekend and had the most cosy and comfortable stay. They really have thought about everything you will need, a beautiful site in a great location
We are the older generation and the luxury of having decking furniture was a lovely surprise in a lodge home from home.
Deborah
Luxurious, Warm and comfortable lodge to be enjoyed in any season. After a terrible camping trip, we decided to book into the hideaway for a more enjoyable stay, and it exceeded our expectations straight away walking through its door! Once we settled in and explored the walks to the beach and locations surrounding, it made us realise we never wanted to leave! The perfect place to escape reality and truly relax! Thanks again for creating some amazing memories for us! 1010!
