Pensarngerrig Booking 7O79Z26EN My Daughter and I had a fabulous time at Pensarngerrig thank you! As soon as we walked in the door, we discovered how beautiful it was and hugged each other! On entry the kitchen was perfect with everything we needed and very modern. The outside space was stunning with a seating area and firepit, looking out over the fields of Rhydlewis, the cows munching away and Red Kites flying above. The peace and quiet was wonderful. The lounge was comfy and attractive, a nice place to relax in the evening watching TV. With two bedrooms, one each, they were very cozy and comfortable. Whilst downstairs the bathroom was stunning with a lovely rainfall shower walkin cubicle, plenty of towels too. The whole experience contributed to and helped us to enjoy our short stay, after a 5 hour journey in a heatwave it was very welcome! Thank you so much.. we will be back!

What a delightful little cosy cottage, so clean and bright with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed red kite watching over the fields, visiting the beaches a short drive away, and dog walks from the door we will be back! The information in the cottage is very helpful. It is a brilliant base for exploring and we enjoyed trips to Aberporth, New Quay and Cardigan amongst other places. It is a well equipped cottage and has most things youd need. Wow just wow! An absolutely charming cottage in the most beautiful location. Everything about pensarngerrig is perfect. The space is amazing considering the outside appearance, it felt so cosy yet bright and comfortable. The decor is smart and contemporary, and it feels so fresh as if we were the first gusts to stay here. Our compliments to housekeeping. From the bedrooms to bathroom with its amazing shower, it ticks all the boxes. The kitchen with the open sides was a master stroke of design we struggled to pull ourselves away. It was so wonderful to just sit and watch the clouds and the red kites flying by. One afternoon there were 13 all together above us! It was the most perfect place to celebrate new year and my wife's birthday, and we left feeling refreshed and renewed for 2026. PS. we may have purchased a couple of old wireless radio's online while here! !

It felt cosy and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and was absolutely perfect for a Christmas break with its warm, festive atmosphere. The location was ideal peaceful and relaxing, with lovely surroundings that made it easy to truly unwind, especially over the festive period. The hosts were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and stressfree. Its clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a fantastic place for guests. We are already looking forward to returning and highly recommend this cottage, particularly for anyone looking for a cosy and relaxing getaway.

Lovely homely cottage, beautifully renovated. Everything you could need was provided, lovely hot shower, comfortable bed and great quiet location but close enough to beaches and towns when needed. Lovely welcome pack of essentials and owner checked in to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay again, if only to watch the kites flying overhead every day.

Beautifully presented cottage, very modern and nicely decorated. Unfortunately the cleanliness let it down and we left after one night. According to the owner who we contacted on another matter, informed us the place had a deep clean before we arrived. This was not the case. The cleaners can argue their case, but i firmly believe the cleaners have let the owners down because it is a beautiful cottage and l would have loved to stay the whole week.

The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. Great view from kitchen over the fields and a quiet location. It is an excellent base if you are walking the Coastal Path and only 30 minutes drive away from Cardigan. 15 minutes away by car is an excellent CK store at Tan Y Groes. Good butcher in Rhydlewis. Two whisky distilleries near, well worth a visit. We found a scale 125000 Ordnance Survey map of the area very useful. A very enjoyable holiday and the views of the countryside, cliffs and sea are stunning if walking the Coastal Path.

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful cottage. Very comfortable. Furnishings and decor are high spec. Very quiet, peaceful location with great views. Cottage was exceptionally clean. There was a slight glitch when we arrived beyond anyone's control. We contacted the owners and they responded immediately and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable whilst they resolved the issue. They resolved the issue in a timely manner and maintained communication throughout. We've stayed in many Sykes cottages and this was by far the best for both value and quality. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pensarngerrig. Lovely little cottage in a very quiet location with beaches and pubs within easy driving distance. Our dog enjoyed watching the cows and it was great seeing them so close to the property every evening as they settled down to sleep under the tree by the garden fence. The cottage bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable mattresses and nice bed linen. The property itself is tastefully decorated and furnished and very welcoming. We received excellent communication from the owners and the little welcome basket on arrival was much appreciated. Our only minor suggestions hence the comfort rating is in relation to the small sofa in the lounge. A bigger sofa would provide more comfort with the smaller one that is currently in situe better located the other side of lounge area in place of the settlebench. If a washing machine can be squeezed in somewhere then that will be a big bonus. We are regular holidaymakers to Wales and have stayed in lots of holiday accommodation, this is definitely one of the nicest, cleanest places we have ever stayed in. We will holiday at Pensarngerrig again. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Pensarngerrig. Lovely and quiet, amazing with the red kites flying around and the cows over in the field. Our two dogs settled straight away. A brilliant base to explore mid Wales Cardigan Bay, New Quay. The interior is finished to a high standard, the bed was very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend staying at Pensarngerrig and hope to visit again soon.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage for a week. We were blessed with good weather which allowed us to explore the surrounding areas, and also enjoy the garden. Pensarngerrig is a great base for exploring. The cottage has a high quality feel to all elements. We have already recommended to others.

Spotlessly clean. Beautiful property inside and out. The location was fantastic with easy access to the coast. The directions were especially helpful and the personal messages from the owner were helpful upon arrival. I would highly recommend. The only thing and it is of minor note would be a new non stick frying pan with plastic utensil to go with it. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay in lovely Wales.

The cottage is beautiful and in a great location. The directions supplied, are accurate and its easy to get to. It is very clean with an excellent shower and bathroom facilities. The bedroom is very luxurious are the beds are very comfortable. The outside seating area is wonderful with excellent views of the countryside. I had a fantastic time and it was a great base to see the Ecliastical architecture of Wales. The coast is only 20 mins away.

Wow! stunning cottage in an idyllic setting was the perfect base with doggies Tilly and Ronnie. Our excellent and attentive hosts have created something really special here with an ultra modern accommodation still true to its setting and history. We enjoyed days out at the coast or in the country, rounded off perfectly by returning to this haven, recharging our batteries for our return to the real world !

The cottage is beautiful, having recently been renovated with great care. The location is wonderful peaceful countryside views from the backgarden made the most of by the glasswalled eating area, and in close proximity to beautiful beaches, coastline and towns. There is so much to do nearby. It's perfectly set up for canine visitors too!

What a beautiful cottage! Lovingly restored, in a peaceful setting with every facility we needed. Didnt miss the dishwasher as we had the cows to watch from the next field whilst in the kitchen. Eating in the bright kitchendiner was a pleasure. Watching kites soar above and enjoying the patio & firepit on warm evenings. It was very clean and comfortable and well located for exploring beaches and walks. The owners were welcoming and there is a very helpful visitor pack with useful information. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again if we are visiting the area.

We stayed at Pensarngerrig with our two children during the first week of the summer holiday. We throughly enjoyed our stay. It is more than your average luxury holiday cottage. The owners have lovingly restored the it while maintaining its historical character. It is beautifully decorated throughout with a mixture of modern and Welsh traditional style. The modern kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and more! The generous basket full of Welsh goodies and the milk and butter in the fridge was very much appreciated and enjoyed! Thank you very much! The information pack produced by the owners was very useful and provided us with lots of inspiration on what to do within the area. I have recommended this cottage to my friends and family as we loved it so much!

The cottage was very nice and complete. It was clean, a very nice and light open kitchendiningroom, with a very complete kitchen fittings. There is a cosey sitting room with a tv, games and a nice jigsaw puzzle. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Our two teenage sons were happy with the good wifi and they liked the fire pit outside very much. Our dog was very happy in the garden, she liked te welcome attention specially for her. We liked our welcome groceries and we enjoyed the luxurious bathroom. There is a very complete welcome book with tips for trips. There was a little problem with the electricity wich was very fast fixed. We had a very nice holiday.

The cottage is a little gem, well equipped and nicely decorated. The view on the surrounding fields is beautiful with curious cows, hunting red kites and an occasional fox. We had warm contact with the owners.

Hands down the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed at! Everything from the minute we walked in was absolutely perfect down to the ball and biscuits for the dogs. Location is absolutely perfect with everything you need a short drive away and a fantastic local butchers a short walk away in the village. We will undoubtedly be back! Thank you

Owner has a lovely property unfortunately it was not ready for our stay it hadn't been cleaned for some time it was one of the dirtiest places we have stayed at I provided owner with photographic evidence to which she did say sorry that it hadn't been cleaned properly I tried to forgive the cleanliness issues as much as I could but just kept finding more and more We had booked Friday Friday as a family we decided to come home on the Tuesday We made Sykes aware and owner aware. We are private people and once were on holiday we didn't want anybody coming in to clean as it should have been cleaned ready for our stay so the family that stayed after us got to have a very clean house as the cleaner would have gone in and given it a much needed thorough clean. Owner wanted the issue to be resolved and offered us 168 for the days that we didn't stay and Sykes said sorry after they saw the photographic evidence and offered 50. I didn't accept either of their offers as our holiday was ruined as we stayed in a dirty house with a broken metal fence which when booked was told it was secure for dogs I am also assuming this was fixed after our stay it should have been fixed before we stayed. I believe that we should have been given a full refund and sorry doesn't cut it. We wasted our fuel there and back and its an outrage that the basics weren't done its pretty much unforgiveable and I'm sure the owner wouldn't want it to happen to them if they booked somewhere so reading families feedback after our stay saying how clean it was is actually down to us raising the cleanliness issues and sending over all the photos of how dirty the house was such a shame they just couldn't get the basics right and have a clean house ready for our stay so just because the feedback may now say the property is clean we made that mistake and trusted the owner and Sykes this property was not fit to be rented out to us for our stay shame on you for ruining a family's holiday

Pensarngerrig is a really lovely place to stay. It has been refurbished to an extremely high standard and is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. There is a very nice welcome pack on arrival as well. The outside space is very pleasant too. The owner made contact on arrival to welcome us and make sure all was well and to offer help if needed. It really is a very comfortable place to stay and I would certainly book this property again and recommend to others. We had a wonderful week. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage there was everything we needed and extras that came as a nice surprise. There are plenty of beaches to visit and shops and pubs a short drive. Unfortunately, we didnt get the weather to sit outside in the beautiful surroundings, however the extension was light and bright and nice and cosy.

We loved Pensarngerrig, a thoughtfully and beautifully restored cottage. The huge windows in the kitchen dining are provide a wonderful peaceful scene and the outdoor area is a delight. All that we would have wanted was provided, even to bread and butter, milk and Welsh cakes. We thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
