Sarngwm Reviews

Malcolm
Couldn't fault the property at all, perfect location for that peace & quiet we were longing for. Everything you could possibly want was here, we took several things with us ,cleaning wipes, washing up liquid etc, as we weren't sure what we would need, but everything was there & I mean everything & alot more. The log burner amazing, such warmth throughout the whole lodge, beds were really comfortable, plus extra bedding if you needed it. Waking up in the morning to the sound of the birds & the nearby chicken's was absolute bliss. Our little dog loved his little walks around the lake wanting to chase the geese lol, & so safe for him to be off lead as it was fenced around. All in all I cannot recommend this place highly enough & the owner Rob was the perfect host, anything you needed it was there. Will definitely be going back for another stay soon.
Heather
The accommodation is what you would call rustic. It has a particular style and charm. Its not luxurious, but has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. What sets it apart from other places is its location. Its set in a remote location without any neighbours. The owner is lovely and supplied wine and Welsh treats which were gratefully received, and of course freshly laid eggs from the 3 chickens on site. It was my second visit to the property and it certainly wont be the last. Thank you Rob xx
Robert
The ambience of the lodge is amazing and so quiet just gazing at the geese and it was so easy for the dogs to have a run around. We did find the lodge extremely warm for our liking and perhaps I should have left the windows open during the night. It was a pity we had to leave so early as both of us came down with head colds. Thank you Rob for supplying us with eggs, wine and cake that was very generous of you and also to sort out the oven issue which I was struggling not used to gas appliances!.
Fab location and setting, so peaceful. The cabin is cosy and comfortable, with all you need to hand. Very dog friendly, our little four legged friends loved the safe space to play and chase each other. We loved just sitting and enjoying the countryside views. The bonus was the lovely lake with a family of geese.. Rob the owner was very helpful, he met and greeted us and left a lovely welcome pack including fresh eggs from the resident hens! We fully intend returning.....this little gem is such a find!
Tracey

This was our second visit and will probably come back. We really love it here, a wonderful cabin and outside is amazing, great views and a lovely pond to walk around. We went to a beach and a lake and several places, lovely area. Rob has made this a wonderful place. Our dog loved it too!
Heather
Furniture is very basic but adequate. The most impressive thing about the property is the surroundings. It is in a quiet area, surrounded by fields. It also features a small lake. Our dogs had a wonderful time and we didnt have to worry about them annoying anyone. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to go back for Christmas.
Pandora
Beautiful peaceful property and the pond was home to a abundance of wildlife. The property is functional with everything you need and the host friendly and helpful.

We had a really lovely holiday in your fabulous cabin, very cosy with a wonderful log burning fire and lovely comfy furniture. Well done building this cabin. We loved the clock etc... plenty of room inside and outside for Sandy our lovely dog. Lovely to look out at the large pond, geese, hens, horse in distance and birds even a woodpecker! We will come again! Manorbier was a lovely place to go by the sea. Thanks Rob Coleen, April and Sandy
Vanessa
What an amazing cabin! Fabulous surroundings, fabulous host. Rob was friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. we had an amazing week, as did our three dogs. They were safe in the enclosed grounds, plenty of space to roam and run without too much worry. The cabin itself is lovely, very warm, comfortable with everything you could need. We would love to return again next year.
We had a great time, peaceful and a perfect stop to explore this beautiful part of Wales. The kids had fun and made friends with the two hens outside and we as parents took our time to slow down and disconnect from the mad mundane life. Thank you Rob for being a excellent host. Very happy to recommend to anyone.
A lovely place to stay with everything we needed for our holiday. Peaceful and relaxing and within easy reach of places to visit. Warm and comfortable, clean and well looked after.
Joanna
Wonderful place, will definitely visit again, Rob was so welcoming, perfect place to relax.
We had such a fantastic time that we extended our holiday by 2 more days. Rob , the owner was one of the nicest people ever met. Xmas there would so beautiful but sadly to expensive for us so roll on next summer to go there again.
Property in a lovely isolated position yet within easy distance to visit all the Pembrokeshire coast. Fantastic for dogs and a getaway for their owners. The property I would describe as rustic charm. A Rayburn for cooking and tap hot water note youll need to use kettles in hot weather not a problem, electric shower, log burner for cold weather, separate gas cooker. Its fair to say the internet is a bit unreliable at times! The welcome pack was much appreciated as were the fresh eggs straight from the nearby chickens. The owner, Rob was very friendly and approachable. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Sarngwm
Excellent place to stay quiet tranquil just what was needed. Rob the host was amazing and very helpful.

Amazing location, it is so private and fantastic for dogs and people alike. A unique chalet that we have already rebooked.

This lovely peaceful tranquil and scenic place was filled with interesting wildlife activity was an easy drive from Narbeth Town with its quirky shops and pubs. Loved the space outside for dog walking around the lake and the attached fields. Log burner and snug for a chill lots of outside area to sit and stargaze. The geese family were cute to watch.

The lodge is idyllic. Its in a secluded spot with plenty of land around it and a large pond. The lodge itself is fantastic, it has everything you need and is more spacious than the pictures make it look. The owner is really nice and checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.
This is a review of the cottage, not the Sykes website. The owner is amazing and very kind. We stayed our original 4 nights and added an extra two whilst we were there. We needed a break in a rural and private area. It's absolutely beautiful, there's amazing rolling hills and fields to walk through. The pond is stunning and the whole cabin was amazing. We were fully loving life when we were here. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you like the pictures, I'd urge you to book it, it's far better in person.
It was absolutely fantastic
