Kestrel Farmhouse is a spacious 4-bedroom farmhouse sleeping 8 guests on a working farm in Cynghordy, just 5.5 miles from Llandovery in northern Carmarthenshire, West Wales. Every bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. The farm raises North Country Cheviot sheep and the owner is a keen ornithologist maps are provided for local walks and wildlife spotting.

The surrounding Carmarthenshire countryside is genuinely quiet. A Victorian viaduct sits just 1km away. Walkers can head up Cynnant hill via a 3-mile valley route. Mountain bikers have access to Gap Mountain Bike trails and the Cwm Rhaeadr cycling route. Elan Valley trails are also nearby. Farm animals roam the property.

The farmhouse sleeps 8 across 4 bedrooms 2 king-size and 2 twin. All 4 bedrooms have en-suites. The king-size room upstairs includes a walk-in wardrobe. The ground-floor twin has its own WC. The open-plan living and dining area is bright and spacious with a large country kitchen and breakfast island.

Pen y Fan and Brecon are around 40 minutes' drive. The Brecon Beacons National Park, Llandovery Castle and the Red Kite feeding station at Gigrin Farm are all within reach. The large hot tub seats up to 8 ideal as the sun drops over the hills.
