The village is 6miles from the road, but the house is very clean and comfortable for a stay, and good to have 3 bathrooms.The welcome pack was a lovely to help start your holiday. Watch out for the steep angle of the drive when you drive out. Good location for Botanic Garden of Wales and make sure you visit Aberglasney

A beautiful, modern and well-maintained property situated in beautiful Welsh countryside. Lots of space for two of us, but I can see it being plenty for 3-5 people too. It has a well-equipped kitchen a good-sized dining space with an extendable table. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy and the bathroom/en suites are excellent. Nora is a wonderful property owner and host and provided helpful suggestions with things to do in the local area. Not only that, she provided some much appreciated welcome treats. The village of Llanfynydd is quaint and pretty and the Pen Y Bont Inn is a nice place for a drink and a meal. Apart from the pub, there are no other amenities, so youâ??ll have to go further afield for a shop. Youâ??re not far from either Carmarthen or Llandeilo so you wonâ??t have to travel a long way for supplies. The route to Llanfynydd is down rural roads, but there are regular and suitable spots for vehicles in both directions to pass by. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely, clean and welcoming cottage which was an ideal base for us to relax and go for walks. It had everything we needed and more! Some lovely pubs and restaurants a 15-20 min drive away recommended by the cottage owner, definitely worth a visit. We hope to visit again in the future.
